MLB: Minnesota 14, Cleveland 6

CLEVELAND, July 21 (UPI) -- Michael Cuddyer and Rondell White both drove in four runs Friday night as Minnesota trounced Cleveland, 14-6, for its eighth straight win.

White had a run and four hits; Cuddyer had three runs and three hits; Justin Morneau had four runs and two hits; Joe Mauer had two runs, three hits and two RBI; and Jason Bartlett hit an RBI single and a sacrifice fly for the Twins (55-40).

The winner was reliever Dennys Reyes (2-0).

Travis Hafner and Grady Sizemore hit RBI singles; Jason Michaels hit an RBI double and a sacrifice fly; Jhonny Peralta also hit a sacrifice fly; and Sizemore, Victor Martinez and Casey Blake all had three hits for the Indians (42-53), who have dropped six of their last seven games.

Loser C.C. Sabathia (7-4) was tagged for eight runs and six hits in 3 2/3 innings with four walks and four strikeouts.
