MLB: Florida 5, Chicago Cubs 4

MIAMI, May 23 (UPI) -- Mike Jacobs hit a two-run single off ex-Marlin Ryan Dempster with two outs in the bottom of the ninth Tuesday to give Florida a 5-4 win over the Chicago Cubs.

Dempster came on in relief to start the ninth, but gave up a single to pinch-hitter Wes Helms and walked Hanley Ramirez. Dan Uggla converted a sacrifice bunt to move both runners into scoring position, so Dempster intentionally walked Miguel Cabrera to set up a game-ending double play.
