Kristen Wiig sneaks into 'Palm Royale'

Feb. 5 (UPI) -- Apple TV+ released the trailer for Palm Royale on Monday. The show premieres March 20.

Kristen Wiig plays Maxine Simmons, who sneaks into an elite Palm Beach club in 1969. Wiig also executive produces with Laura Dern, who co-stars.

Allison Janney, Ricky Martin, Josh Lucas, Leslie Bibb, Amber Chardae Robinson, Mindy Cohn, Julia Duffy and Kaia Gerber also star. Bruce Dern and Carol Burnett are credited as guest stars.

Both Dern and Burnett are seen in their characters' beds. Burnett has dialogue requesting to play doctor.

Apple calls the show "loosely based" on Mr. and Mrs. American Pie by Juliet McDaniel. Showrunner Abe Sylvia adapted it.

Three episodes premiere March 20. New episodes air weekly on Fridays.

The seasons finale of Palm Royale will air May 8.
