Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin reunite in 'Grace and Frankie' trailer

The series is created by "Friends" co-creator Marta Kauffman.

LOS ANGELES, April 9 (UPI) -- Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin reunite in a first trailer for Grace and Frankie.

The 77-year-old actress and her 75-year-old former co-star portray longtime rivals Grace and Frankie, respectively. The preview sees the two women form a reluctant bond after their husbands (Martin Sheen and Sam Waterston) reveal they are gay and plan to marry.

Grace and Frankie is created by Friends co-creator Marta Kauffman and Howard J. Morris. The series will premiere May 8 on Netflix, and co-stars June Diane Raphael, Ethan Embry, Brooklyn Decker and Baron Vaughn.

Fonda and Tomlin played Judy Bernly and Violet Newstead in 1980 comedy 9 to 5. The former is also scheduled for Fathers and Daughters with Russell Crowe, while Tomlin is attached to The Road Home with Jacob Vargas.
