Miley, Kid Rock to perform at the AMAs

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 11 (UPI) -- Kid Rock, Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, Carlos Santana and Gavin Rossdale have been booked to perform at the upcoming 2010 American Music Awards.

The additions to the ceremony's lineup were announced Thursday by Dick Clark Productions President Orly Adelson.

The artists join previously announced acts such as the Backstreet Boys & New Kids on the Block, Rihanna, Diddy-Dirty Money, Ne-Yo, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Ke$ha, Christina Aguilera, Bon Jovi, P!nk and Usher.

Additional announcements, including this year's presenters, are expected to be made soon, the program's producers said.

The show will broadcast live from the NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE on Nov. 21 on ABC.

"The AMAs has always been about the best music of the year and our lineup truly reflects the talented artists that have made 2010 so special," AMA producer Larry Klein said in a statement.
