'American Idol's Fantasia Barrino gives birth to third child

May 24 (UPI) -- American Idol alum Fantasia Barrino is a mom of three.

The 36-year-old singer welcomed her third child, daughter Keziah London, on Sunday.

Keziah is Barrino's first child with with her husband, Kendall Taylor. Barrino also has two children, daughter Zion Quari, 19, and son Dallas Xavier, 9, from previous relationships.

Barrino shared the news of Keziah's birth on Instagram alongside a maternity photo that shows her with a Photoshopped elephant.

"The elephant is the animal I chose to surround @keziahlondontaylor with because it represents patience, strength, power and remembrance. Just a few of the qualities that her presence has brought into our lives and this world," Barrino captioned the post.

"We were patient waiting on you to enter this world and we will always remember the strength that it took for me and @salute1st to create something as powerful as your life itself," she said. "Happy Birthday to our little Angel 5-23-21 and may God keep you and cover you for the rest of your days!"

Singer and Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss and RHOA alum Phaedra Parks were among those to congratulate Barrino in the comments.

"Congratulations!!!!!" Burruss wrote alongside celebratory emojis.

Barrino and Taylor married in July 2015 and announced in November that they were expecting their first child together. Barrino shared a photo in February of Taylor resting his hand on her baby bump.

Barrino came to fame after winning American Idol Season 3, which aired in 2004. She released her seventh studio album, Sketchbook, in 2019.
