Tala Alamuddin shows off style savvy in New York

NEW YORK, May 1 (UPI) -- Tala Alamuddin showed off her style savvy this week in New York.

Amal Alamuddin Clooney's sister impressed fans with her fashionable outfits and resemblance to the 37-year-old barrister, drawing comparisons to Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton's sister, Pippa Middleton.

Alamuddin is currently based in Singapore, and flew in to the city to reportedly celebrate father Ramzi Alamuddin's birthday. Alamuddin, George and Amal Clooney, and Ramzi and Baria Alamuddin were spotted at dinner Tuesday.

"Tala is a wonderful mother, a fantastic friend. She's full of heart," a source said of Alamuddin to People magazine. "[Tala and Amal] are very close as sisters, as friends. There isn't any rivalry, not a bit between them."

George and Amal Clooney married in Venice in September 2014, and are temporarily living in New York as the actor films new Jodi Foster-directed drama Money Monster and the barrister serves as as a visiting professor at Columbia Law School and
