Erica Mena showered with birthday gifts by Bow Wow

NEW YORK, Nov. 10 (UPI) -- Erica Mena was showered with gifts from fiancé Bow Wow over the weekend.

The reality star celebrated her 27th birthday at a masquerade-themed black tie party thrown by the 27-year-old rapper. Mena received a Rolls Royce, an Audemars Piguet watch, a Rolex and diamond jewelry from her beau to mark the occasion.

"I never dreamed that I would find someone who challenged me to see the world in the way you do," Mena wrote in thanks on Instagram. "A man who makes me laugh with love and abandon, a man who even after 8 years friendship, You are the only one who gives me butterflies when you walk through the door ... I love you @shadmoss106 This was the BEST Bday EVER."

Mena and Bow Wow have been a couple since spring, and announced their engagement at the 2014 BET Hip-Hop Awards in September. The reality star has a six-year-old son from a previous relationship, while Bow Wow has a three-year-old daughter with Joie Chavis.

Mena has appeared on VH1 reality series Love & Hip Hop since 2011. She will return for a fifth season in 2015, but said Bow Wow will not take part in order to protect their relationship from the spotlight. The rapper currently hosts 106 & Park on BET, and is slated to star on CSI spinoff CSI: Cyber.
