SAINT-TROPEZ, France, July 31 (UPI) -- Pamela Anderson has proclaimed herself "Mrs. Rock" after marrying Bob "Kid Rock" Richie in Saint-Tropez, but the wedding was not legal under French law.
Anderson wore a low-cut white lace couture dress by Heatherette designers Richie Rich and Traver Rains, a Swarovski crystal-encrusted tiara, a white veil and with diamond studded Jimmy Choo shoes for Saturday's ceremony before an intimate group of friends aboard a yacht, MTV.com reported.
The groom was decked out in a white V-neck T-shirt with a black Detroit Tigers baseball cap, MTV said.
Anderson, on her Web site Sunday, proclaimed the event "the best romantic wedding of all time. Rock n roll wedding."
However, a French official told People magazine the couple bypassed the country's requirement for a civil wedding at the mayor's office, so therefore, the yacht nuptials did not create a legal union.
They have plenty more times to get it right, however -- the almost-newlyweds say more ceremonies are planned in Malibu, Calif.; Nashville; and Detroit.
