NEW YORK, June 14 (UPI) -- Guardian Angels founder Curtis Sliwa says he and his son have received death threats in New York from men chanting things like "John Gotti rules."
Sliwa said he and his 2-year-old son, Anthony Chester, were at a park when a group of white men approached them, the New York Daily News reported.

"They said that both my son and I deserved to have bullets put into our heads and they walked on," Sliwa said.
Sliwa appealed to reputed mobster John Gotti Jr., a father of five, to "spread the word" so the hateful comments might stop.
He said the offenders have often shouted "John Gotti's the man" and "John Gotti rules."
