LOS ANGELES, May 24 (UPI) -- "Bridget Jones" author Helen Fielding, who lives in Los Angeles, is seven months pregnant with her second child, it was reported Wednesday.
The British author has a 2-year-old son with her partner, Kevin Curran, a writer Fox TV's "The Simpsons."

Fielding's 1996 "Bridget Jones' Diary" spawned two films starring Renee Zellweger in the title role.
Fielding has kept Jones alive with a fictional diary published weekly in London's Independent.
Fielding's announcement was met with little surprise back home, since she has been writing about Jones' adventure in pregnancy since August, The Independent noted.
