Burrell to perform stage tribute to Diana

LONDON, June 16 (UPI) -- Princess Diana's former butler, Paul Burrell, is planning to perform a one-man stage tribute to her in London's West End, the Daily Mirror reports.

Burrell, the man the late princess described as a favorite confidante, is expected to give an hour-long talk Sunday about his life and times with the popular royal.

In addition to Burrell's recollections and anecdotes from inside Buckingham Palace, Highgrove and Kensington Palace, the show will also include royal household tips about dining, etiquette and upper-crust manners, the newspaper said.

Later, Burrell will answer questions from the audience.

Burrell's West End engagement follows a sold-out performance of a similar event last year in the United States.

"I have been quoted the world over, and my intentions have been misrepresented by many," Burrell said. "I'm looking forward to sharing my experiences so the public can hear my own words and then make up its own mind."
