The win was worth $378,000 and earned him an exemption through the 2004 season.

Last year, McRoy came up $4,598 short in his bid to retain his card, missing the cut at the final event of the season.

Funk carded a 5-under 67 to finish alone in second place at the En-Joie Country Club.

Cliff Kresge used a 10-under 62 to climb from a tie for 47th into a tie for third with Brian Henninger, Robert Gamez, Glen Day and third-round leader Shaun Micheel.

Micheel, who also was seeking his first PGA Tour win, took a three-shot lead into the final round but struggled to a 2-over 74. |end| Content: 15027000
