Uecker, Morgan named baseball analysts for NBC

NEW YORK -- Bon Uecker and Joe Morgan Wednesday were hired as game analysts for NBC's coverage of Major League Baseball.

Uecker, a Milwaukee Brewers broadcaster for the last 23 years, will provide commentary alongside Bob Costas. Morgan, who has served as a game analyst for ESPN since 1990, will be be paired with play-by-play announcer Dick Enberg.

Uecker worked previously as a game analyst for ABC's Monday Night Baseball. Morgan, who was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1990 following a 22-year playing career, worked occasionally as a baseball analyst for ABC and NBC in the 1980s.

NBC resumes coverage of baseball in 1994 as part of the Baseball Network, a partnership between Major League Baseball, NBC and ABC.
