PHILADELPHIA -- The Philadelphia Flyers have signed defensemen Taras Zytynsky and Andre Villeneuve from the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League to multi-year contracts, the club announced Monday.
Zytynsky, 19, was a fourth-round draft choice of the Flyers in 1980 and participated in the team's training camp the past two years. He scored 57 points on 18 goals and 39 assists in 64 games last season and was a second-team All-Star.

Villeneuve, 19, was the Flyers' sixth-round pick in the 1981 draft and took part in training camp last year. Despite an illness and a wrist injury, he registered 50 points on 11 goals and 39 assists in 51 games.
