NUREMBERG, March 12, 1946 (UP) - Responsibility for the German annihilation bombing of Coventry in 1940 was pinned squarely on Reichsmarshal Hermann Goering by one of his own defense witnesses today.

NUREMBERG, March 12, 1946 (UP) - Lord Halifax in an affidavit prepared for the War Crimes Court has expressed belief that Reichsmarshal Hermann Goering would have kept Germany out of war if he had been able, the American-sponsored News Zeitung reported today.

NUREMBERG, March 15, 1946 (UP) - Hermann Goering told the war-crimes tribunal today that Adolf Hitler attacked Russia because he had become convinced American war production would make possible a successful invasion of the Continent.

NUREMBERG, March 18, 1946 (UP) - Hermann Goering told the War Crimes Tribunal today that he was proud to offer "my head" at the bar of Allied justice for his belief in Adolf Hitler and Nazism. Goering made plain that he stood by Hitler "for better or worse."

NUREMBERG, March 19, 1946 (UP) -- Chief Prosecutor Robert H. Jackson appealed to the War Crimes Tribunal today to force Hermann Goering to "change his attitude" toward the trial after an angry verbal battle in which Goering repeatedly shouted Mr. Jackson down.

NUREMBERG, April 8, 1946 (UP) -- Marshal Wilhelm Keitel, his voice quivering and his clenched fists pounding the witness box rail, testified today that he issued blanket orders for Nazi war crimes because he was under the malign domination of Adolf Hitler.

NUREMBERG, April 9, 1946 (UP) -- Justice Robert H. Jackson, chief American prosecutor, angrily accused war crimes defense counsel today of using the Allies as press agents for anti-Semitic propaganda and turning the tribunal into a sounding board for neo-nazism.
