Ellen Pompeo, who plays Meredith Grey, and Patrick Dempsey, who plays Derek Shepherd, have reportedly signed two-year deals to continue on the show. The news comes five months after Grey's original cast member Sandra Oh, Christina Yang on the show, announced that the was leaving the series after 10 seasons.

While ABC still hasn't picked up the show for an 11th season, its safe to assume that it will given that Pompeo and Dempsey are returning.

With more than half of the original Grey's cast gone, it's still unclear if Justin Chambers, Chandra Wilson and James Pickens will be reprising their roles in the medical drama.
