Christina Ricci looks murderously good on 'Lizzie Borden' poster

Nov. 19 (UPI) -- In 1892, Lizzie Borden's parents were brutally murdered, quite possibly by Lizzie herself. At the resulting trial she was acquitted, but the public was never convinced she did not kill her parents.

Now the story has been turned into a Lifetime movie, starring Christina Ricci as the alleged murderess.

Lizzie Borden Took An Ax also stars Billy Campbell as Borden's lawyer and Clea DuVall as her sister. The first poster for the film, featuring a smirking Ricci holding a bloody hatchet, has been released.
