(UPI) -- Keith Carradine will be paying a visit to his real-life daughter Martha Plimpton on Raising Hope, guest starring as a singing, technophobic cowboy.

Carradine will guest star in an episode of the Fox comedy's fourth season, playing Colt Palamino, who runs a dude ranch visited by Virginia (Plimpton) and Burt (Garret Dillahunt).

The actor, who most recently appeared with Rooney Mara and Casey Affleck in Ain't Them Bodies Saints, has shared the screen with Dillahunt before -- on Deadwood, where his character was murdered by Dillahunt's character.

"It'll be good to see him," Plimpton said. "And I'm hoping there's no leftover hard feelings over his fake brutal murder by my fake husband!"

Raising Hope airs on Fridays at 9/8c.
