KABUL , Afghanistan, July 8 (UPI) -- A suicide bombing in eastern Afghanistan killed 16 people Tuesday, including four NATO coalition soldiers.

A statement from the International Security Assistance Force did not mention the soldiers' home countries, but Czech media reported four Czech soldiers were killed Tuesday. The attack also killed two Afghan police officers and 10 civilians, the Czech news website iDNES.cz reported. ISAF includes 250 Czech soldiers.

The attack came the day after Afghanistan announced preliminary results of a national presidential election, adding no winner could be declared because of alleged ballot fraud. Former Finance Minister Ashraf Ghani holds 56 percent of the counted votes, with former Foreign Minister Abdullah Abdullah receiving 43 percent, the commission said.

Abdullah has claimed his opponent, with the help of election officials, rigged the vote, and has sought a delay in the counting process.
