Police looking for men who stole cheese from driver in Russia

MOSCOW, Dec. 15 (UPI) -- Police in central Russia are looking for two men who allegedly stole about 20 tons of cheese from a driver, officials said Sunday.

The men allegedly approached the driver in Russia's Vladimir region and forced him to swallow "unknown pills," which made him unconscious, RIA Novosti reported.

The suspects then made off with about $122,000 worth of cheese, a police spokesman said.

The driver was discovered later in a car in a remote village.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
