STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Nov. 27 (UPI) -- A bus in Stockholm struck Prince Carl Philip's car Wednesday but Swedish officials say his Porsche Cayenne suffered more damage than the prince.
The prince was at a stoplight in the Djurgarden area of Stockholm when his vehicle was rear-ended, TheLocal.se reported.
"I have spoken with the prince. He was back-ended by a bus," said royal spokeswoman Annika Sonnerberg. "He feels fine, but the back of the car was damaged."
After the crash, the 34-year-old prince boarded the bus to talk to the driver, catching many of the passengers off-guard, witnesses told Swedish media.
"He didn't want to make a scene when he saw that he had an audience," a witness told Expressen, noting that the prince looked shocked.
It was unclear who was at fault, TheLocal.se said.
