CALPE, Spain, Aug. 23 (UPI) -- A British man received 150 stitches after he was gored during a bull run at a festival in Calpe, Spain, officials said.
Peter Mayne, 41, was posing for a picture at the Bous al Carrer bull run earlier this month when he was mauled by the bull, the London Evening Standard reported Friday.

The bull attacked Mayne for about 30 seconds before a crowd managed to pull the tourist back by his legs.
Mayne suffered wounds to his legs and torso.
"He was in a lot of pain. Luckily his organs and arteries were missed," said Hannah Chamberlain, 18, Mayne's step-daughter.
