Man allegedly prepared girl for gang rape

OXFORD, England, Feb. 25 (UPI) -- A victim in the trial of nine British men accused of sexually exploiting six girls said one of the defendants prepared her to be gang raped.

The girl, who was 12 at the time of the attack, testified defendant Mohammed Karrar allegedly used sex toys and numbing cream used by dentists during an incident at an apartment in Oxford in preparation for a gang rape, the BBC reported Monday.

Then, five or six men entered the apartment and all allegedly raped her on the kitchen table, she said, adding that the men drank alcohol and used drugs before allegedly raping her.

"I just wanted it to stop," she said.

Karrar and eight others are facing charges a total of 51 charges including the rape and trafficking of six girls, ages 11 to 15, from 2004 to 2012.

"Forgive me," she said. "I feel stupid. At the time I thought he [Karrar] loved me."

The trial is expected to last until May.
