No group has claimed responsibility for the deaths of men -- identified as Deen Mohammad, Ahmedullah, Kashir Kha, Khan Mohammad, Mohammad Nawaz, Abdul Ahmed and Mohammad Akbar -- though police said the incident was one of a string of attacks on non-Baloch people in the province in recent weeks.

All seven had worked as coalminers for United Mineral Company in the Sorange coal mines, Geo News reported.
