VATICAN CITY, April 26 (UPI) -- Pope Benedict XVI has created a special commission to probe the leak of church documents alleging management corruption in Vatican City, church officials say.
The documents leaked to Italian media this year included letters from Maria Vagrano, the Holy See's ambassador in Washington, to the pope and the Vatican's secretary of state, Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone. At the time of the correspondence, Vagrano was deputy governor of Vatican City.
