KANDAHAR, Afghanistan, Jan. 3 (UPI) -- At least four people were killed and more than a dozen, including children, were injured in a suicide bomb explosion Tuesday in Afghanistan, officials said.
Kandahar's acting provincial security chief, Gen. Abdul Razaq, said a motorcycle packed with explosives rammed into a convoy of Afghan national police, Khaama Press reported.

At least eight Afghan civilians, mostly children, and four Afghan Border Protection troops were injured in the attack, officials said.
