Sunday, Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski, Prime Minister Donald Tusk and other government officials attended ceremonies at Warsaw's historic Powazki cemetery to commemorate the crash that killed Kaczynski and 95 others.

Russia has placed the blame for the crash of the Polish air force's Tu-154 on Poland. Poland blames Russia, saying Russian air traffic controllers failed to give the pilot details of weather conditions near the airport where the plane was to land.

Everyone aboard the plane died in the crash. They were en route to attend a memorial ceremony for the victims of the 1940 Katyn massacre, in which Soviet secret police killed thousands of Polish military officers.
