TORONTO, June 23 (UPI) -- A Toronto man has been taken into custody on weapons and explosives charges in what Canadian police say is G20 summit related arrest.

Byron Sonne, 37, has been charged with possession of dangerous weapons and possession of explosives for an unlawful purpose, Canadian Broadcasting Corp. News reported Wednesday.

A police emergency task force and a bomb squad were working a crime scene at Sonne's house in Toronto's Forest Hill neighborhood, CBC reported.

Sonne is a self-employed computer security expert, The Toronto Star newspaper reported.

Toronto police would not detail the exact charges because they deal with evidence in the case, CTV.ca reported.

"To protect the integrity of the investigation, further details will not be released," a police department release said. "This investigation is part of the Toronto Police Service's ongoing effort to ensure a safe and secure G20 Summit."

The G20 summit, a conference among the world's wealthiest countries, will be held in Toronto June 25-27.
