BEIJING, April 19 (UPI) -- A passenger bus and a car collided on an expressway in China's eastern Jiangxi province, killing at least 10 people, authorities said Monday.
Eight people died at the scene and two of 17 people injured in the accident died later, China's state-run Xinhua news agency reported. The other 15 injured riders remained hospitalized.

The two vehicles collided on the expressway Sunday evening in the province's Jishui County, the report said. The cause of the collision was being investigated.
The expressway connects Jiangxi's Ganzhou city with Heyuan city in the southern province of Guangdong, the report said.
