Mom: 'Ive killed my children'

HEATHFIELD, England, Jan. 27 (UPI) -- Police in Britain found the bodies of two young children in a car Wednesday after a woman walked into their station and said she had killed her children.

Fiona Donnison, 43, was arrested after she led police to her car in Heathfield, East Sussex, and the bodies of Harry, 3, and Elise, 2, were found in the trunk, The Sun reported. She was sent to a hospital to be evaluated to determine whether she could be interviewed by police.

A police source told The Sun the children appeared to have been dead for some time, although no information was released on the cause of death.

Donnison, who has two teenage sons by her first marriage, lived in a large house in Heathfield that was put on the market in December. She moved to a rented house in Lightwater, Surrey, apparently because of marital problems.

The source said Donnison had cuts on her wrists and arms when she entered the police station and said, "I've killed my children."

"The woman apparently appeared totally spaced out and oblivious to what had happened," the source said.
