Xinhua reported a funeral for Oudeh, 73, who plotted the terrorist raid at the 1972 Munich Olympics in which 11 Israeli athletes and five Palestinian fighters died, was held later in the day in the Yarmouk refugee camp near Damascus.

The Chinese news agency said his coffin was wrapped in the Palestinian flag and was accompanied by hundreds of mourners waving Palestinian flags and chanting slogans against Israel.
