MANCHESTER, England, June 23 (UPI) -- A former British model with five husbands has pleaded guilty to her latest charge of bigamy, prosecutors in Manchester, England, said.
Emily Horne, 30, also known as Amileannya Carmichael and Emily Lecount, pleaded guilty to bigamy Monday in a hearing at Minshull Street Crown Court, The Daily Telegraph reported Tuesday.
The charge resulted from an illegal marriage to Ashley Baker, 25, who married Horne in September 2007, the Telegraph reported.
Baker later discovered he was Horne's fifth husband and fourth bigamous union in just more than a decade, prosecutors told the court.
Horne, who was jailed for six months for a bigamy conviction in 2004, told the court she is being treated for manic depression.
Horne's only legal marriage was in 1996 to her first husband, Paul Rigby, who she married a day after her 18th birthday and then failed to divorce before marrying her other husbands, the Telegraph reported.
Addressing Horne, Judge Peter Thompson called her a "cool customer."
"You are an attractive young woman and you might be described as a very predatory female," Thompson said.
