Eight slain in Afghanistan suicide blast

KABUL, Afghanistan, March 30 (UPI) -- A suicide bomber detonated a device inside in a Kandahar province, Afghanistan, police station Monday, killing eight people and wounding six, police say.

A police spokesman said that among the dead were five police officers and three civilians, CNN reported.

No other information was immediately available.
