Drew Peterson's brother voices suspicions

NEW YORK, March 16 (UPI) -- The stepbrother of former Illinois police Sgt. Drew Peterson says Peterson asked him odd questions after the 2007 disappearance of Peterson's wife.

Police suspect Peterson killed wife Stacy Peterson at their Bolingbroke, Ill., home but have not filed any charges against him, officials said. Tom Morphey told ABC's "Good Morning America" show Monday that his stepbrother acted suspiciously in the days following Stacy's disappearance, at one point asking him if he loved him "enough to kill for me."

"He said, 'How much do you love me?'" Morphey told the broadcaster in his first network television interview. "I said, 'I do.' And he said, 'Enough to kill for me?'"

Morphey said his suspicions were also raised when he helped Peterson move a blue barrel, with Peterson allegedly telling him, "This never happened."

Morphey said Peterson had also mentioned a storage locker to him.

"I knew it wasn't, it wasn't good," Morphey told ABC. "He was planning on killing somebody."
