CINCINNATI, Feb. 26 (UPI) -- A former employee at the Cincinnati morgue had sex with the bodies of at least three slain women, Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters said Thursday.
Deters said that Kenneth Douglas has admitted abusing corpses and has said he might have had sex with as many as 100 during his 16 years as night attendant in the Hamilton County morgue, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported.
"This guy's just a pig. I can't explain why someone would do something like this," Deters said. "This is off-the-charts weird."
Douglas, 55, pleaded guilty last year to abusing the corpse of Karen Range, who was 18 when she was almost beheaded in 1982. Deters said that Douglas's DNA turned up in at least two more cases when evidence was checked, both involving women killed in 1991.
Deters said that Douglas has acknowledged bringing marijuana and alcohol to the morgue.
Douglas's DNA was put into a database after he was picked up on a probation violation. It turned out to match DNA found in Range's vaginal swab.
