The accident occurred around 7 a.m. when a long-distance sleeper bus carrying 46 passengers, including 18- and 10-month-old babies, veered off a highway in Yanhe County and then fell down a 260-foot hill.
Officials said the bus, which is owned by a public transport company in Guizhou, was traveling from Guangzhou, capital of southern Guangdong Province, to Yanhe, a rural county to the northeast, Xinhua reported.
