Shaheen wins New Hampshire Senate seat

CONCORD, N.H., Nov. 4 (UPI) -- Former Gov. Jeanne Shaheen won a close Senate race in New Hampshire, unseating Republican incumbent Sen. John Sununu Tuesday, projections indicated.

On the issues, Shaheen is closely tied to the national Democratic agenda.

CNN and CBS both projected a Shaheen victory early.
