Suspected drone attack kills at least 10

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan, Oct. 3 (UPI) -- A suspected missile strike killed at least 10 people Friday in the Pakistani village of Lund Mohammad Khel, a military official said.

CNN reported that an unnamed military source said at least 10 were killed, while local media reports put the death toll at 21.

BBC reported that an unmanned aircraft fired on the village in North Waziristan region.

The U.S. military has not confirmed any drone attacks and a Pakistani spokesman said there had been no intrusion.

The British network reported that North Waziristan is a stronghold of Islamic militants, including the Taliban and al-Qaida.
