TEHRAN, June 28 (UPI) -- An Iranian man was tried on charges of being a paid agent of the Mossad, the Israeli intelligence agency, officials said Saturday.
The evidence reportedly included equipment allegedly supplied by Israel, Press TV said. The court said its verdict would be released in a week.

The Iranian Student News Agency reported the trial ended Saturday with the defense case, YnetNews said.
In 1999, 13 Iranian Jews were tried by a Revolutionary Court on espionage charges. Ten were sentenced to prison, although they were freed in 2002.
