LAS VEGAS, June 17 (UPI) -- An apparent early morning robbery has left Oakland Raiders wide receiver Javon Walker injured but in fair condition at a Las Vegas hospital.

Walker was found unconscious on the street about 7:19 a.m. Monday morning after a night that included champagne toasts at a casino the night before, KVVU-TV Sports reported Tuesday.

The NFL player was listed in fair condition late Monday afternoon after being taken to Sunrise Medical Center's Trauma unit. Police reportedly said Walker had significant injuries.

Las Vegas Review-Journal columnist Norm Clarke reportedly described seeing Walker twice during the weekend buying large amounts of expensive champagne for local casino patrons. The last incident at Body English at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino lasted until 6:30 a.m. Monday and cost Walker at least $15,000.
