WASHINGTON, April 22 (UPI) -- Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton is hoping to rake in campaign contributions when she holds a special fundraiser in May, her campaign said.
The Hill reported Tuesday that the New York senator, whose campaign is about $1 million in debt, has scheduled a Washington fundraiser on May 7 that she will host along with her mother Dorothy Rodham and daughter Chelsea.
The event, being called "Generations of Women: Honoring our Everyday Heroines with Sen. Hillary Clinton, Chelsea Clinton and Dorothy Rodham," will be held at the swanky Omni Shoreham Hotel.
The cost to attend ranges from $5,000 to sponsor a "Platinum Table" to $250 for supporter status.
"You can recognize a special woman in your life by sponsoring a table in honor of them," a campaign e-mail to donors reads. "All honorees and sponsors will be recognized and included in our program."
