TERRE HAUTE, Ind., April 14 (UPI) -- Officials said they ruled out foul play in the fire that destroyed Sen. Hillary Clinton's Terre Haute, Ind., headquarters late last week.

John Gardner, the Terre Haute Fire Department public information officer, said investigators suspect lightning or electrical problems, but they "have not determined a cause yet," reported the Indiana Statesman, the newspaper at Indiana State University in Terre Haute.

"They've ruled out all foul play-criminal action or any arson," Gardner said.

Estimates from the fire department cite the damage to be around $200,000 to the building and $50,000 to the contents of the building, he said.
