The burst of gunfire wounded four Mojave High School students and two others. Police say that Jackson and Williams, alleged gang members, were at the bus stop with Tatum looking for members of a rival gang.

The other gang did not appear. But the shooting started when friends of a student Tatum had had a fight with confronted the group, apparently believing Tatum was looking for him. Jackson and Williams then allegedly opened fire.

Capt. Kirk Primas of the Las Vegas police gang unit said that investigators are looking for other suspects.
