KNOXVILLE, Tenn., Oct. 16 (UPI) -- A former Tennessee state trooper was formally charged Tuesday with receiving oral sex from a porn actress he had pulled over for speeding.
Justis Ellen Richert, who uses the name Barbie Cummings professionally, wrote about her alleged encounter with James Randy Moss in her Internet blog, the Knoxville News Sentinel reported. She said he asked for the sex act after throwing out some illegal prescription painkillers he found in her car.
Moss, who resigned after 10 years with the Tennessee Highway Patrol, surrendered Tuesday morning. He had been charged in a sealed indictment with official misconduct, tampering with evidence and official repression. Some of the charges relate to a traffic stop in 2006 involving another woman.
Cummings said she was driving back to Knoxville from a visit to her aunt when she was pulled over. She got a ticket for driving 92 in a 70-mile-per-hour zone and failing to have her license or proof of insurance.
