"We have recovered two suitcases with dangerous explosive devices," said Indian Railways Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav.

"It's sabotage. It's an act of terrorism like the one in Mumbai," he said, making reference to a wave of blasts in July 2006 that killed 186 people in Mumbai.

Meanwhile, Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf said Monday that leaders of India and Pakistan will not allow the bombing to derail the peace process between the countries, the Press Trust of India reported.

"Such wanton acts of terrorism will only serve to further strengthen the resolve to attain the mutually desired objective of sustainable peace between the two countries," he said.

"We will not allow elements who want to sabotage the ongoing peace process to succeed in their nefarious designs," he said.
