Fifth victim of school shooting buried

GEORGETOWN, Pa., Oct. 6 (UPI) -- Anna Mae Stoltzfus, the fifth victim of a shooting at an Amish school in Pennsylvania, was buried Friday.

The 12-year-old girl's coffin was carried to a small cemetery in Georgetown in a horse-drawn carriage, the Philadelphia Daily News reported. The procession of 41 horse-drawn buggies was led by two state troopers on horseback, and other troopers lined the road to Bart Amish Cemetery to ensure privacy for the mourners.

While the Amish generally avoid cars and other modern equipment, mourners from out of town traveled in several vans. Those in open buggies huddled under blankets on a chilly rainy day.

The four other girls killed at the West Nickel Mines Amish School were buried Thursday.

Five more girls were seriously injured by the shooter, Charles Roberts, a milk-truck driver who lived nearby and went to the school after dropping his own children at the school bus stop. Roberts killed himself as police stormed the one-room school.
