The alleged victim's son told the newspaper his mother felt the nurse was taking care of her and couldn't do enough for her.

Police allege the nurse, who befriended the patient at the home, forged checks, stole credit cards and even cashing the victim's insurance policy.

The report said the nurse's alleged actions came to light after the son took over his mother's finances in May.

Police expect to soon arrest the nurse, the Morning News said.
