Babies from 2 families buried together

SACRAMENTO, May 25 (UPI) -- California authorities are trying to determine how a deceased baby was removed from a hospital morgue and buried with another family's infant twins.

All the babies died in Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Sacramento, the Sacramento Bee reported. Officials at two state agencies were working to determine how the three babies got together.

Kaiser admitted that mistakes were made.
