Winning Ohio ticket worth $265 million

CORRYVILLE, Ohio, April 19 (UPI) -- A winning Mega Millions ticket was sold at a Kroger supermarket in Corryville, Ohio, but no one has claimed the prize, a lottery spokeswoman said.

The store is a block away from the University of Cincinnati campus.

"You could have a group of students, you could have a group of teachers, you could have a group of workers from the university," lottery spokeswoman Mardele Cohen said. "So we'll just have to see what happens."

The winning numbers in the 12-state game were 13, 14, 25, 34 and 50. The Mega Ball was 6.

The winner can take a cash option of approximately $148.9 million or 26 annual payments of approximately $10.1 million, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported.

The Kroger store will receive $100,000 for selling the winning ticket. It will be up to the store to decide whether to share that with sales clerks or other employees, Cohen said.

The last Mega Millions winner from Ohio claimed a $270 million prize -- the biggest lottery jackpot won in the state -- by forming an anonymous trust.
